RoofKIT - how do we build in the future?
Exhibition at @architekturschaufenster for @roofkit_ + @kitarchitektur The exhibition "RoofKIT - How do we build in the future?" shows models, drawings and infographics of the competition entry of Team RoofKIT for the "Solar Decathlon Europe" and discusses six guiding questions, which are supposed to answer the title-giving question. The result is six stations, marked by different colored circles, which are supposed to represent circular building principles, transforming the exhibition space into a parcours that can be explored in many ways. The exhibition architecture works with existing materials that have been used in other exhibitions - for example, at the @kunsthalle.ka RoofKIT is led by the chairs of Sustainable Construction and Building Physics and Technical Construction. In June RoofKIT won the competition, congratulations to the whole team! My task was to design the big window in such a way that it would be informative if one could not enter the exhibition and would attract potential visitors. The inside of the exhibition was projected outside with colorful posters that addressed the guiding questions of the exhibition and picked up on the theme of circularity. Inside, visualizations were printed on large banners and facts about the project are located opposite the entrance door. Mockups were created to test the design.
