Lukas Großmann studied architecture at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) and at Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands), completing his master’s degree with a focus on architectural and cultural heritage and graduating with honors. He works as a freelancer for various architecture firms and as an independent graphic designer in the exhibition and museum sectors, and regularly writes articles on the history and theory of architecture. His work explores the social relevance and political dimensions of our built environment. He is also a member of Architects4THF, an international network that campaigns against the development of Berlin’s Tempelhofer Feld and addresses the socio-ecological future of cities through collective spatial design. Since October 2025, Lukas is working at the Chair of Structural Engineering and Design at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology on a research project.
