EHV +
Six Projects for a Metropolitan Future exhibition, visual identity, 2023 Through six future Eindhoven icons, EHV+ explores the challenges and questions the young metropolis will face in its expansion until 2050 and beyond. By means of an open call, six students were invited to submit written contributions that critically engage with proposed city developments - linking fundamental questions of urbanization to the site specific conditions of the Brainport Region. Each of the six contributions seeks to (re)imagine the future of the Eindhoven Metropolis through the lens of a single project, diligently considering: Who will benefit from this development? Who will be left out? What are the potential social, economic, and environmental impacts? And, crucially, what can we learn from this development that might help us to build a better city for the future? The exhibition poster can be folded and thus doubles as a brochure with information about the exhibition. The concept of the exhibition does not correspond to a classic "stand and look show", but interacts with the visitors by means of the booklets. The printed materials - like the shirts on display - are strongly influenced by the DIY scene of the 90s hip-hop subculture. organized by: Andreea Şofineţi, Bob Colenbrander, Vincent van Spaendonk with contributions by: Akke Wagenaar, Ilse Houbiers, Jurian Weitz, Max Slangen, Faith Alcindor, Boris Koselka @casavrt @tueindhoven
